Inayan Eskrima
Eskrima is a Philippine martial that combines weapons (sticks or bladed weapons) and open hand moves. Eskrima, as with many weapons oriented martial arts, grew strong in adversity. The Philippines has had many invaders, and as occupying forces often do, they outlawed martial arts of the indigenous population. Weapons training disappeared into folk dances and farm tools were used as training tools. Eskrima shares a rich heritage with Kali.
